* Playing sports safely - despite COVID-19
verantwortlich: Heike Straach

Our sports programme is organised in line with the requirements of the state of Berlin, and is based on the Ordinance on Basic Measures to Protect the Population from Infections with the SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2 Basic Protective Measures Ordinance - BaSchMV) in its currently valid version. Individuals booking a sports course at HTW Berlin thereby declare their acceptance of these regulations.

What are the concrete implications for you?
Participants now enjoy unrestricted access to our sports facilities once again. The only remaining obligation is to wear an FFP2 mask. This must be worn upon entering the sports hall and left on until individuals either actively participate in the sports session or leave the hall. This also applies to functional spaces.

Stay at home if you feel ill or have had contact with people infected with COVID-19. In this case, entering the sports facilities is prohibited. If you have attended a sports course and are classified as a suspected case, please contact the sports office by email.

Furthermore, we continue to ask for your cooperation with the following:
If the nature of the sport allows it, ensure that it is performed without contact and at a distance of at least 1.5 m to fellow participants.
Come dressed for sport or use the changing rooms for as brief a period as possible.

Important information when participating in sports courses
Used sports equipment must be disinfected after use. Please air the course and functional spaces regularly to ensure sufficient fresh air supply.
Bitte lüftet die Kurs- und Funktionsräume regelmäßig, damit ausreichend Frischluftzufuhr gewährleistet werden kann.

Please also take note of the information displayed in the sports facilities. Detailed information can also be found on our website under Corona.
